Every rate, average, ranking, and statistic on this Site is either (a) a published figure from a named third-party source, cited with its date directly on the page where it appears (sources used include Rates.ca, ThinkInsure, Onlia, Ratehub, and McDougall Insurance), or (b) a mathematical estimate computed by our tools from such published figures and publicly documented rating factors, always displayed as a range and labelled as an estimate. We publish the methodology beside the tools. We do not invent numbers, and where sources disagree, we show the disagreement openly.
